Human Services Transportation Plan

The Madison Area Transportation Planning Board (MATPB) is in the process of updating the Coordinated Public Transit – Human Services Transportation Plan for Dane County. We would like your input on how coordination is currently working between transport providers and human service organizations and how it can be improved, as well as what unmet transit / specialized transportation needs exist in the county.

We hope you will join us:

Date: July 19th, 2018
Time: 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Location:
Madison Senior Center
330 W Mifflin St
Rooms 1-3, 2nd Floor
Madison, WI 53703

Please note, all participants are asked to be prepared to discuss the following questions at the meeting:

  1. Do you have success stories to share concerning your agency’s coordination efforts with other human services and/or transportation providers that might be valuable for others?  What do you see as important coordination accomplishments for Dane County as a whole?
  2. What specialized transportation gaps or needs exist in the following categories?
  • Coordination
  • Expanded Service
  • Vehicles
  • Training and Education
  • Affordability
  • Amenities
  • Other

If you are unable to attend the meeting, we welcome your feedback to the questions above.  Meeting notes as well as a survey for transportation providers will be sent out after the meeting.   If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch through the contact information list below.
